Improve Your Skating – Stride Strength, Speed & Technique

The PowerSkater teaches proper skating mechanics. It is like having a Power Skating clinic in your own home. When training for hockey focus on your skating skills. Develop stride power, stride length, speed, quickness and agility all in one skating machine in the comfort of your own home. Why pay hundreds of dollars each year for power skating clinics or hourly sessions on a skating treadmill that can potentially hurt your skating mechanics. Incorporate a PowerSkater into your hockey workouts with just 15 minutes of time on the machine 3 – 4 times a week. If you want to get to the next level, the PowerSkater is a proven product to take you there. Used by the Pros at the NHL, KHL, AHL level and more for the past 12 years. Develop skating power in your hockey skating and take your game to the next level

Power skating coaches throughout the country all teach the perfect skating mechancis as shown in the picture below. The PowerSkater works on the muscles used in skating. With repetitions the player gets mind memory and muscle memory of the proper skating mechanics.

The PowerSkater is the best kept secret in hockey today. It’s that “can of whoop ass” to make your hockey player an elite skater. We have teams with 4-5 parents on the team who own PowerSkaters for their player and they never tell the other parents that they own a PowerSkater. We have coaches at the Junior level who will not give us a testimonial because they do not want another team owning their secret weapon and improving beyond their players.

Does it really work? Why not just go out and skate a lot to improve your skating. For some players it is not that easy. Many skating flaws take a lot of coaching and practice, which can cost a lot of money – more than the cost of a PowerSkater. If the player goes out and repeats the same flaw over and over again then they will never fix it. Some players at an early age are too weak to skate correctly. Many above average height players grow up with a short stride because they are fast enough at a young age until they get older and find out they are missing 6″ – 12″ of stride length. The PowerSkater works, read what the Inventor has to say.

The above photo shows a players with skates on the PowerSkater, this is not recommended but rather for visionary purposes only.

Testimonial by Ron Bulloch, Inventor of the PowerSkater.

I invented the PowerSkater for my son because of his desire to play on a Travel Team when he was 8 years old. I grew up in Canada where I played hockey from youth on up to a Senior, coached, officiated, and was a volunteer amateur scout. I understood skating and what it took to be a good skater. My wife and kids moved from Winnipeg, Canada to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, USA. There was only one sheet of ice for approximately 1100 players and my son could only get 1 hour of lessons a week. He skated too upright, pushed straight back causing his profile to be very narrow and he bent his back leaning over therefore he had a very short stride for he would fall easily. We spent hours on the ice 1 on 1, me teaching, him trying.

I did not make this product for the industry at large (it had no name at the time when I first invented the machine). I was only trying to help my son’s skating skill trying to teach him skating technique. I had coached older kids to skate and I found myself frustrated in teaching a 6 – 7 year old skating technique with limited ice time and no frozen ponds to play on. My goal was proper skating technique. “Watch me, do this”, were some of the many of my commands to him while on the ice. He improved some but not to the extent he needed to improve and he had a great attitude in trying.

It was not until he spent his summer on the machine that first year before I realized how well it worked. He made his Travel Team at the end of the summer. For a kid who was a terrible skater in March of that year, he turned into a fairly good skater by September and he never skated all summer, only worked out on the machine. It was an amazing transition. He went from skating upright, from being what I call a straight liner, with his back bent and weight forward TO a posture with a low profile, back straight, slight lean forward, and pushing out to the side.

I was nervous making the product and selling it in the beginning for I worried if other kids would see the same results. I did not want to make a product that did not work beyond what I said it would do. I was raised to value integrity, honesty, and hard work back on the farm in Manitoba, Canada. “If someone buys this machine will they see the same results as my son, assuming they use the machine on a regular basis. I was encouraged by feedback from retired Professional Players, who evaluated the product in the beginning, and their suggestions to bring it to the market. It was then that I filed for a Patent and later brought the machine to the market calling it the PowerSkater for the device would mimic power skating techniques. I have seen over and over again the same results with other players from all ages including the NHL. Today we have well over 6,000 units in every hockey country in the world. It works, I know first hand. Read the full story, click here. My son went on to play Juniors in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and 4 years of College. He was the fastest skater on his team and in the League.

Play’n Go’s yearn for collaborating with superstars to make branded slots had them looking out of the music scene for a moment and into the skateboarding universe, where they settled on Nyjah Huston. If you have not heard of him, Nyjah is a young pro skater hailing from Davis, CA, who is well on the way to eclipsing the legacies of yesteryear’s skating greats such as Bob Burnquist, Tony Hawk, and the formidable Rodney Mullen with his flourishing career. Two-time ESPY Award Winner with 82 champion titles, of which seven are X-Games gold medals at only 25 years of age? That’s no joke!

Back to the slot named after him, it will be all about spinning for the gold symbols as implied by the title. There’s one, a gold set of letters that spells SKATE in the correct order to unlock a bonus round, and two, a stacked golden wild that awards a win booster multiplier of up to 10X on top of its regular-payer substituting powers. Sounds intriguing? Let’s get into the details.

As Nyjah Huston will tell you, being successful is all about the prep. We mean, haven’t you seen the Send Saturdays episode on his channel where he trims an overgrown hedge so that he can skate the handrails? Same for the players here, there will be some preparations to go through before diving in on the action.

Skater

Usual business, the first thing you have to do is use the + and – button to toggle between various bet amounts. With your bankroll in mind, select just the ideal bet, after which you should set the reels in motion with the play button or the auto-spins button next to it. For those looking to play faster, you can switch to faster gameplay using the tiny lightning bolt-shaped button on the bottom left side of the controls tab.

Visually, the game has struck a scene Huston would be proud of. The playing area looks like a wall filled with street graffiti overlooking a skate park that makes for the backdrop. There’s no telling what inspired the upbeat rock music in the background, but it could be perfect blasting out from the headphones of anyone who is about to perform some stunts on a skateboard.

When it comes to the math model stats, the Nyjah Huston Slot might end up being controversial, just like the lifestyle of the icon who inspired it. Starting with volatility, it is set at medium, meaning that there is no predicting how a spinning session turns out. You could either be off to a slow start with dead spins only to be recompensed after a considerable while or start with bankroll-replenishing low-medium wins. Potential is decent but not stellar at 2500 times your bet. Lastly, the Return to Player percentage is slightly above-average at 96.20%, which isn’t something to be overly excited about.

Paytable & Basic Rules for Winning

When it comes to the paytable, there is a set of 5 high-pays and low-pays as well. While the low-pays are the letters S, K, A, T, and E, the high-pays are images of Nyjah Huston, split into stunt symbols and one close-up headshot when he is rocking a snapback. The latter is the highest-paying symbol, racking up 25X for 5 of-a-kind.

As usual, triggering a win involves lining up at least 3-of-a-kind on any one of the available 10 paylines.

Skate the reels with the Wild-board Re-spin Feature

On any spin, the combo meter can appear at the top of the grid to prescribe the stunt symbol you should land anywhere on the playing area to activate the named feature. Here, the reels re-spin while 2 wilds and one stacked wild reel that takes the form of a skateboard are awarded. This almost guarantees a win, and things could even get better when the skateboard turns gold to award a win booster multiplier ranging from 2-10X.

Bonus Round

Just like the skateboard can turn gold, the low pay letters, S, K, A, T, & E can also turn golden. When lined up in the correct order to spell SKATE, starting from the leftmost reel, the golden symbols award 12 free spins.

On each round, you are given a chance to land 3 stunt symbols on prescribed reels. And if you manage to do that, the Wild-board Re-spin is activated while 2 additional rounds on the house are added to the free spins tally.

Conclusion

Scatter Slots Era

With its sticky wilds, re-spins, and bonus rounds, the Nyjah Huston slot can’t brag to possess something we haven’t seen before. However, the way everything is executed is fascinating, which makes the slot look innovative as a whole. Another positive thing about the slot is its decent potential, which could see the luckiest player walk away with up to 2500X on a single spin. To put things into perspective, this would only be arrived at during the Wild-board Re-spin, with the 10X golden skateboard awarded and only Nyjah Huston’s headshot symbols on the spots not occupied by the awarded wilds.
